About WTR?!

“There are more ideas on earth than intellectuals imagine. And these ideas are more active, stronger, more resistant, more passionate than ''politicians'' think.
We have to be there at the birth of ideas, the bursting outward of their force: not in books expressing them, but in events manifesting this force, in struggles carried on around ideas, for or against them.
Ideas do not rule the world. But it is because the world has ideas... that it is not passively ruled by those who are its leaders or those who would like to teach it, once and for all, what it must think.” - Michel Foucault
Our goal here at WTR?! is not to tell you what to think. Rather, it is our humble request that you DO THINK.
Sure some of the statements on the front page may be controversial or ring the alarm bells in your head. In fact, one may flat out disagree with them. However, a moment of uncomfortableness is a small price to pay for the reward of an open mind and a desire to learn more.
If you disagree, tell us why. Do your own research. Compare it to our facts. Don't take any piece of information as Truth without questioning and verifying it yourself. We feel like as you educate yourself more deeply about our current situation, the more you will see that the "truth" isn't quite as rosy as those in power would like you to believe. And if you have evidence to the contrary, please share it with us. This isn't about opinions. It's about facts.
Power is a complex concept, one best understood from a perspective of Social and Political Philosophy. Pictured above, Michel Foucault was perhaps the greatest contributor to this subject in recent history. We believe he would agree with RATM when they famously said: "We Gotta Take The Power Back"
