"Change" You Can Believe In?
Imperial overreach. Legislative Deadlock. Unsustainable borrowing. Political puppet shows. Currency devaluation. Executive power grabs. Apathetic populace. Special interest domination. Illusions of "choice" and democracy. From Republic to Empire
The parallels between the Fall of Rome and our current situation in America are astounding.
Our future is continuously disregarded in the name of short-term gains and profit. Where is somebody stating what should be obvious to the rest of the population? Where is somebody calling out the government for overreaching its constitutional power, for abusing our unalienable rights, and continuously covering their tracks with deceptions and lies?
Where is Rage Against The Machine when we need them? Where is the outrage at administrations past and present?
The choice of Left or Right is wrong. Republican and Democrat are wings of the same vulture, feeding off regurgitated profits from the misguided policies they set.
However, we are not powerless. We live in an age of unparalleled power to let our voices be heard; to communicate on a massive scale with our peers; and to bring about real "Change".
We must elect a government by the people, for the people - not for empire building and corporate profits

Who Controls The Past Now, Controls The Future;
Who Controls The Present Now, Controls The Past

"Beware of the leader who bangs the drum of war in order to whip the citizenry into patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry, [who] infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How [do] I know? For this I have done. And I am Julius Caesar!"
